80. Choose natural dry shampoo.

We didn’t realize dry shampoo existed. It felt like a sham... Is it made out of dirt? What’s next? Are we supposed to drink ‘dry’ water, and clean our clothes using a ‘dry’ cleaner? Oh wait… maybe they are onto something…

If dry shampoo exists, are we supposed to use a ‘hair wetter’ after we’re done (insert thinking emoji)?

To help you ‘Choose Natural Dry Shampoo’, here’s a simple 2-step process:

  1. Keep your hair dry
  2. Clean your hairdo, you weirdo, with dry shampoo…do

Your Future You wants to remind you your choices are not part of a a dry rehearsal. ‘Choosing natural dry shampoo’ becomes part of the big event (your life) to move toward the best version of your Future You. Your Future You wants other dried and true ways to flourish - like mixing dried fruits, with dry vermouth and topping it off with dry humor. Ahem (cough), (tap-tap) this thing on? Ugh, our Future Us is feeling like a wet blanket this week.

P.S. - It’s been reported that Corporate Housing Companies help you ‘choose natural dry shampoo’ by helping our guests find various and variations of local dry cleaners… even if this now means finding non-wet, non-soap natural hair ‘dry cleaner’ - just be sure to go light on the starch.

What is your favorite cleaning hairdos and hairdon’ts?

80. Choose natural dry shampoo.

Most conventional dry shampoo comes in an aerosol can or a plastic container. Instead, choose natural options for dry shampoo. If you hair light hair, for example, you can use baby powder. (Just be sure to rub it in well!) Alternatively, if you have dark hair, try cacao powder. This eliminates the extra packaging as well as the aerosol mechanism from your beauty routine.
