Hot Herbs, (on the scoville scale or ‘other’) are typically in hot demand. Home-grown Hot Herbs have heroic homages. People better relate to home-grown goodness and the home-grown talent of hot Herbs. Below are some hot Herbs who first grew at home, and then blossomed into greener and greater pastures:
-Herb Alpert
-Rosemary Clooney
-Peaches and Herb (home-grown from DC!!!)
To help you ‘Grow herbs at home’, here’s a simple 2-step process:
Your Future You likes home-cooked meals from your herb grown skills. This is a result of years of providing sage advice. This thyme, Your Future You is giving you minted advice to grow herbs (at home) to prevent you from growing annoyed (at home) about your limited flavored food options. This will also prevent your Future You from growing a concern (at home), around your sprouting culinary skills. Let’s just say, without the spicy advice from your Future You, some of your cooking has not hit scoville (demand) scale.
P.S. - It’s been reported that Corporate Housing Companies help people ‘Grow herbs at home’ by giving time (monthly minimums), space (large, full-size kitchens), and herb-related seeds (at least, that is, upon request) Just ask! As we aim to replicate your at home living with flavorful, joyful temporary stays. So if asked if you want to extend your temporary stay, you can gleefully turn that oregano into a hearty and hot oreganYES.

Stop buying herbs in jars or plastic containers at the supermarket and instead, grow your own herbs at home. This will cut down your plastic usage and means fresher ingredients for your recipes as well.
