Pepper at the Smithsonian

Let us play the local guide for you. If you haven't been to a Smithsonian museum before, they're quite spectacular. One of the many reasons we love DC so much is that we’re living in the future already! At different Smithsonians, which include some of our Nation’s greatest treasures, you can find robots named “Pepper” helping you through the museums as a sort of "futuristic docent". When you see one of them, interact with them by touching their iPad to ask questions, hear stories, and dive deeper into objects in the collection.

If you want to meet Pepper, here’s where you can find her:

Smithsonian Castle: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
