44. Make sure your ‘tires’ are properly inflated.

Sometimes everyone 'tires' of being told how to act properly. While this message sorta wears us down, it doesn’t leave us feeling deflated, defeated, or depleted. In fact, many inflatable items fill us up with energy and hope - like properly inflated water slides, properly inflated Clear Dome Tents, and properly inflated egos. (please note the emphasis on properly)

Tiring as it may seem, when things are properly inflated, everything rolls more smoothly. So when you can’t find the energy to get pumped up a little more, we recommend trying on this properly inflated rocketman from the costume store to properly fill the room with joy. You can then retire the entire ‘tire’ with satire attire (how soon to Halloween?).

To help you “Make sure your ‘tires’ are properly inflated" here’s a simple 2-step process:

  1. Know your ‘tires’ by checking your pressure
  2. Breathe in for 5 seconds, hold for 5 seconds, release for 5 seconds, hold for 5 seconds. repeat.

Your Future You will feel the release of pressure when you properly pump your 'tires' and properly pump your breaks today. This will also keep your current ego (and future Halloween costumes) properly inflated. Your Future You appreciates this practice because your Future You may be surrounded by improper inflationary (stagflationary?) scenarios, so maybe buying that see-through inflatable Dome tent now is a good housing investment against future ‘inflation’? (sigh, SMH)

P.S. It’s been reported that Corporate Housing helps ‘Make sure your tires are properly inflated’ by providing properly furnished places for the working traveler who ‘tires’ of living too long in a hotel. Even though many furnished places include properly inflated high-end air mattresses (and/or sofabeds) for visiting family and friends, we don’t anticipate diaphanous domed inflatable tents will be on offer anytime soon. Unless, of course, they're able to be furnished with properly inflated privacy curtains.
